At August Gate we believe that living on mission is a way of life. We are called to live on mission where we live but God also calls us to take the Gospel to the world. Members of August Gate are currently doing this and we want to take the opportunity to highlight what God is doing in their lives. Jessica will be traveling to El Salvador with Living Water International. She will be part of a group that will be split up into two groups. Her group will be teaching Bible stories to children as well as teaching them health, hygiene, and proper sanitation techniques. She is in need of prayer and financial support. Rebecca will soon begin serving with CEF (Child Evangelism Fellowship) to bring the gospel to unchurched children in the Southern Illinois region. Starting as a summer intern she will be orchestrating and teaching 5day clubs. She will then attend the Children’s Ministries Institute this fall to become a career missionary. |

Will and Brooke Adams moved to St. Louis in 2011 to help start Co:Mission Ministry, an International Church Planting ministry that exists to help fulfill Jesus’ commission to go to all nations and make disciples. It is their mission to establish partnerships that will educate, equip, and empower Christ’s Church to reach these unreached people groups, equip indigenous leaders and plant churches in strategic locations throughout the world.
