In this week's text we see the peace that only Jesus brings as Mary is told that she would fulfill a seven hundred year old prophecy. This text has real life implications and applications especially in this crazy holiday season.
We see in our text this week Mary's response to what God is doing in her life, she responds with joy and in total obedience. What we learn for ourselves is that when you realize the Gospel is for you, your response is joy.
