At August Gate, we believe that God has created us as human beings to exist in community. He created us for relationship with Himself and relationships with one another.
Small Groups
One of the best ways for us to build and grow relationships is through small groups. Small groups meet midweek, are diverse in age and life stage and welcome visitors every week. If you are looking to connect, please contact one of the leaders below.

Dinner in the City
Another expression of community at August Gate is our monthly event “Dinner in the City.” Once a month we gather for food and conversation at a local restaurant. We desire for Dinner in the City to allow us to both grow deeper in relationships with others and support our local businesses. For details on the next dinner in the city, check out our calendar.
Gospel Communities
Because we believe Scripture defines every follower of Christ as someone sent as a missionary to his or her own culture, we believe that we should be spending time “gospeling” our communities. Once a month our small groups team up to love, serve, and evangelize the communities in which they exist. So far, this has meant three installments of “Rec Center Love” where we have volunteered at the local city rec center during their free, community holiday events.
